Announcements
For private ICF/MR and CRF/DD providers reimbursed under 405 IAC 1-12, please be reminded that the provider assessment will increase from 5.5% to 6.0% of total annual revenue effective 10/1/2011. As a result of this change in the provider assessment, the following reimbursement and assessment changes will occur effective 10/1/2011:
- Increase the assessment amounts collected from 5.5% to 6.0% of total annual revenue,
- Increase the allowable provider assessment cost that is included in the Medicaid rate, and
- Remove the rate reduction factor contained at 405 IAC 1-12-24(d).
For providers with annual rate effective dates other than October 1, your previous established Medicaid rates will be adjusted incorporating the above changes during October 2011. For providers with an annual rate effective date of 10/1/2011, the above changes will be incorporated with your annual rate review.
